Thermal imaging scope
The new iRay Rico series are riflescopes with thermal imaging technology with an optional, modular laser rangefinder.
The RL42 model is equipped with a VOx thermal detector that 384 x 288 pixels at a pitch of 12 um Can resolve photos and videos. The built-in screen outputs the signal in high-definition resolution. Through the modern AMOLED Panel, colors can be displayed extremely brightly. Another advantage is the image reproduction of non-illuminated areas, these are shown really black without having a negative effect on the observation due to a gray haze. In addition, these displays work energy efficient, which is noticeable in the longer operating time.
Power is supplied by a Battery quick-change system provided. A battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh is enough for about 6h out. Changing the battery is easy to do, of course quietly and also “blindly” in complete darkness. The right charger is included.
The optional Laser rangefinders can objects on a maximum range of 1 km capture and determine its dimensions. The accuracy is plus - minus 1 meter. That modular system enables the measuring device to be removed from the scope at any time if it is not required for the current application.
The device is also prepared for hunting with large calibers, because it can recoil up to 6000 Joule put away In addition, up to 3 shotguns with the respective settings can be used with one Profile get saved. That Crosshair can be presented in 8 different versions.
The observations can be activated by activating WiFi streamed via hotspot to up to 4 participants on their smartphones or tablet devices. All you need is a mobile app, which can be found linked below. The thermal imaging device has a 32 GB large memory for recording videos and photos.
The lens measures 42 mm and enables one field of view width of 11 meters in a 100 meter field. The detection range for a 1,8 meter tall figure is over 2 km.
