The brand new flagship of the Pulsar thermal imaging riflescopes is literally a jack of all trades. Because that Thermion 2 in the Pro version with LRF is equipped with everything technically possible that is important for the upscale hunter.
LRF stands for the Laser rangefinders, which has a wavelength of 905 nanometers invisible to humans and animals at a distance of up to 800 meters, it can determine the size of the observed object.
The thermal detector used with the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels with a pixel density of 17 microns is the ideal prerequisite for capturing not only creatures in the hunting ground, but also the smallest details such as twigs and leaves. A look through the scope shows without having to think how well the play of contrast and sharpness harmonizes.
The sensor is with the sensitivity of below 25 microkelvins able to distinguish the finest differences in the thermal image source. This makes it possible to classify game as well as all other heat sources, even in rain or fog.
