The Cyclops Pro models have been equipped with new features and one more more sensitive Thermal sensor upgraded.
The thermal imaging monocular is equipped with a VOx detector equipped, which can resolve objects with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels at a pitch of 12 micrometers. The sensitivity is below 25 microkelvin. With this performance, the 635 Pro belongs to the upper class for semi-professional use.
The screen has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The special thing about it is the new OLED technology, as you know it from modern television sets. The advantages are the strong, lively colors, the high contrast and the streak-free black levels.
The optics has a 35 mm F1.0 lens. It is bright enough for a detection range of 1,8 kilometers to address a game such as a deer. In addition, the use is well suited for hunting and forestry thanks to the field of view of almost 22 meters on a field of 100 meters in length. The basic optical magnification can magnify targets with 2,1x. In addition, a stepless zoom with a factor of 1 – 6 x is installed.
One of the new features is digital noise reduction, which scans the image material three-dimensionally and converts it accordingly into a better and clearer view. This is particularly important in difficult weather conditions such as rain or mist.
Typical for Cyclops is the Service, which can be compared to a kind of joystick. This is not only intuitive, but also an advantage because the user can make settings without a light and even with gloves.
The VCR can store photos and videos, 16 gigabytes of device memory are available for this purpose. The 2-way WiFi means that the mobile data connection of a connected smartphone can be used. For example, a live stream can be set up directly on the Internet.
Power is supplied by a lithium-ion battery that is permanently integrated in the device. The Uptime one charge extends to 12 hours. The battery is charged directly in the housing with the supplied USB cable. A power bank can also be connected to it.
