The iRay AL25 observation device forms a good basis for thermal imaging technology for both Beginner as well as for users who want a more cost-effective secondary device require. The performance corresponds to the upscale basic models. What is new about these AFFO models is that they are fully equipped despite the good price level.
The thermal imaging sensor can take photos and videos with 384 x 288 pixels represent. The vanadium oxide sensor has a sensitivity of below 40 microkelvins and a pixel density of 12 microns in short, a good basic performance for all kinds of applications such as hunting, game observation and surveillance.
The objective lense is 25 mm in diameter, the field of view width at a distance of 100 meters is 18,37 meters, a good prerequisite for extensive observation. There is also an optical one enlargement up to 2,4x, with an additional digital zoom of up to 4x magnification.
The extremely compact and lightweight handheld device is equipped with a recording recorder that enables image and video material up to a size of Gigabyte 32 save to internal memory.
The observation does not necessarily have to be done solely via the device, by means of WiFi the observation can be transferred to up to 4 smartphones.
The power supply is provided by the permanently installed Lithium-ion battery regulated, depending on the type of use up to 7,5h enough before it needs to be recharged with the USB cable.
