The Viper 50 Next is the top of the range model with the best performance. The thermal imaging attachment equips a scope with thermal imaging technology. The detector has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, equipped with OLED screen, 5 color palettes, 18650 battery, 2160 m range. The special feature is the extremely light and compact design.

The attachment can be an ordinary one scope upgrade with the possibility of thermal imaging detection. For this purpose, it is attached in front of the daylight optics. The Viper 50 Next is currently most powerful Model of the company Nitehog. It has a 50 millimeter large lens, which was created for widespread use. A special feature is the high frame rate of Hertz 60, which means that targets are displayed pin-sharp even when they are moving.
A feature of the manufacturer is the extremely compact and lightweight design type. The thermal attachment weighs just 295 grams, less than a pound. The assembly is thanks to the flat Design on any common ZF possible quickly and easily. After the first zeroing, this does not have to be done again when disassembling, reassembling, the repeatability is a decisive advantage, especially for hunting.
The precise technology enables detection of a person at a distance of 2,16 km. Electronics specially developed by Nitehog are used to evaluate the thermal image data. The A core module processes the data at lightning speed and reproduces it in high image quality with the finest details. And not only with good ones weather conditions. Observations are consistently possible even in rain or snow thanks to the combination of high-performance hardware and intelligent software (algorithm).
The 50 millimeter thick objective lens is made of germanium and coated with carbon to prevent any scratches. In a 100 meter field, this is field of view almost 8 meters. A good overview of the entire area is therefore given at all times.
The Power Supply is well solved by the commercially available 18650 batteries. One battery charge is sufficient for around 5 hours of operation. To recharge is a Charger right away.
The Viper is equipped with numerous software features. These include the 5 different ones Farmodis and settings for Image optimization. The housing is IP66 water resistant, so use in wet weather is not an obstacle. It is started by a rotary switch, which means that accidental switching on can be ruled out. The menu navigation is kept extra simple, it helps above all pictograms, to understand the function even without specialist knowledge.
