Description

Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35

Thermal Imager Handheld

Monocular version

The popular Axion product family gets numerous improvements with the Axion 2 XG35 LRF, including a brand new thermal sensor. The thermal imaging surveillance camera has a high-resolution Lynred detector with 640 x 480 pixel matrix made in Europe. LRF stands for Laser Range Finder, in German laser range finder, with this the application is particularly suitable for wildlife observation and night hunting interesting.

For an even better one Image optimization the software and hardware have been updated, depending on the type of use, the best possible observation is always striven for. That becomes by the triple Signal amplifier possible, which also irons out misrepresentations with an additional edge and smoothing filter. This new feature really comes into its own with the Wildlife Viewing and the hunting use because animals can be quickly identified and assessed, even if it is raining or snowing.

The laser rangefinder detects objects up to a distance of one kilometer. The laser works at a wavelength of 905 nanometers. This is ideal in use of the detector and night use.

The construction is light and compact at the same time, the material consists of one Magnesium alloy. This has the advantage that it retains its shape in both heat and cold. In addition, it conducts the heat generated away from the electronic components, which is why a constant display quality becomes possible. If it rains or thick mist obscures the view, the user does not have to worry about moisture, which could damage the electronics, because with IPX7 the Axion 2 is well protected against moisture and dust.

The high transmission, i.e. the light yield, is achieved by the 35 millimeters Realized objectively, the result is clear and sharp image representations.

Pulsar again relies on the battery exchange system for this observation device. Of the APS5 battery delivers for approx 11h Electricity. A replacement battery can be exchanged for the empty battery within seconds, even by simply feeling it with your hands in the dark. An optional USB power bank can also increase battery life.

Live views can through Wi-Fi can be watched together with up to 4 other people. This works via smartphones and tablets using the Pulsar Stream-Vision App 2. The WLAN module is now stronger. thanks to 5 GHz network, higher data rates and more stable transmissions are possible.

The detection range amounts for a human 1,75 km. It therefore makes sense to observe heat sources not only in the immediate vicinity, but also in the surrounding area.

8 different color palettes are suitable for showing the heat source particularly well separated from the environment. Depending on the ambient temperature and time of day, the target is detected quickly and precisely by the respective color tone.

The monitor responds 1024 768 x pixels in HD. The AMOLED LEDs display colors brightly and true to life. An area that is not exposed is displayed in true black and not with a haze of gray as was the case with the previous technology. Among other things, a battery life of 11 hours is made possible by the economical, self-illuminating LEDs.

The built-in VCR is Gigabyte 16 large to hold thousands of photos and countless video clips. In addition, to store the Pulsar Cloud be used, the data transfer takes place via the mobile phone app. Transferring the photos and videos to the Laptop is performed with the USB cable.
