The Helion XP28 is a compact handheld device with a range of 1000 meters, 1,4x optical and up to 8x digital zoom, and a battery life of 8 hours. Equipped like all Helion devices with a high-resolution AMOLED display. A battery, charger and remote control are also part of the Helion series. Recordings can be transferred via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

Through the microbolometer used, the without active cooling, the thermal imaging devices of the Helion series are particularly energy-saving. The optical 1,4x zoom range can be increased up to eightfold in double jumps thanks to digital technology.

The 50 Hearts frame rate can capture fast-moving creatures without the image display faltering or even flickering.
An interesting feature is the automatic OFF function. If this is switched on, the display is switched off as soon as the user wants to take a short break, all the default settings are retained. After the pause, only the display has to be switched on again with the push of a button.
Through the IPX7 moisture protection class According to the IEC 60529 standard, the handset is protected against the ingress of water in rain, snow and even if it should fall into water.
