The new Telos series from Pulsar are thermal observation monoculars that will make it possible in the future to single components to be exchanged. Thus, the owner always keeps up with the times and saves. Because when the technology has improved again, a new device does not have to be purchased straight away, but only the appropriate components such as the optics, electronics, detector or screen.
A pair of laser distance eater is already integrated in the models with “LRF”. At 905 nanometers, the spectral range is invisible to the human and animal eyes. The LRF can determine the distance to the target at a distance of one kilometer with a deviation of only +- one meter. It can be activated for one-time use or continuous measurement.
A prominent feature is the highly sensitive temperature sensor, which can show the highest quality and most detailed illustrations. This can also be seen in the worst weather, such as rain or fog, when a low thermal image contrast clouds the observation.
Pulsar has developed its own algorithm for image optimization, which image boost improves the contrast, sharpness and clarity of the entire image. At the same time, the image information is displayed even more precisely thanks to the smoothing filter. Heat sources such as a deer or a person can be conveniently observed in any position.
The Enlarge and focusing is done by the ring controls, which are located one behind the other on the lens, like on a still camera. The observer can thus act precisely, even with gloves.
The Telos thermal imaging monocular can be used in the most adverse conditions such as freezing cold in the snow or scorching, bone-dry heat. Thanks to IPX7 Protection it is waterproof and dustproof. The surface of the housing is covered with rubber, so it always feels good in the hand, regardless of whether it is used with wet hands or with gloves. The case withstands temperatures from – 25 ° C to + 40 ° C.
Thermal image sources can be through the 8 different color combinations such as white-hot, black-hot, red-hot, multicolor, ultramarine, red monochrome, sepia or violet always optimally displayed to match the environment and temperature.
The new one is coming for the energy supply LPS7i battery for use, which keeps the device in use for up to 6400 hours with 8,5 mAh. Pulsar has again developed a smart feature here, because the battery can be recharged directly via the USB-C connection with the USB cable at a socket. A charger is therefore no longer required. Incidentally, the battery can be charged quickly and is suitable for wireless charging (cordless charging).
