The D series from the manufacturer ThermTec are thermal imaging cameras with a dual lens system. The Cyclops 640D has a 20 and 40 millimeter lens. The change takes place with a turn within a moment. Not just 2 lenses, too 2 field of view widths are available, for the close range 38 meters and for the wider area over 19 meters on a 100 meter long track. The special thing about it - the focus always remains sharp when switching, so the observer always has a comfortable overview.

The thermal imaging sensor has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, the pixel density is 12 microns. This high-resolution matrix is ​​additionally supported by the 25 microkelvin temperature sensitivity. Heat sources are thus photographed with the finest details. And not only at night, in the dark, but also in daylight and sunshine.

The screen has an extremely sharp resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and high-contrast colors thanks to an AMOLED panel. In addition, the black values ​​are naturally dark and not surrounded by a gray shimmer, as is the case with LCD technology.

The AI-powered object detection makes it possible not to stay on the ball all the time, the user can relax his eyes in between and does not have to constantly stare through the lens. Because as soon as something happens in front of the lens, this can be reported by an acoustic or visual signal, or by a vibration function. Deep learning can recognize up to 6 movement patterns and automatically display the respective distance.

There is a 32 gigabyte large one for taking photos and films VCR available. The new Wi-Fi System with 2-way technology can use a smartphone's data connection to stream live to the social network. Of course, the WiFi can also directly supply up to 4 smartphones with the observation playback.
