An LCOS (Liquid Crystal Silicon) display consists of liquid crystals that create the image. Unlike an LCD display (liquid crystal display), this does not transmit light, instead the light is reflected. An OLED display (Organic Light emissions Diode) consists of organic light-emitting diodes for image generation. A AMOLED display (Active Matrix) can display images faster than an OLED display, but has the disadvantage that the service life is shorter.
