GEN II (2nd generation)
Night vision devices equipped with a microchannel plate and an S25 photocathode. This technique results in a brighter image, which is particularly noticeable with edge sharpness. The Gen II devices require less ambient light. The devices amplify the light by around 20.000 x, and the image quality and resolution have also been improved.
