On which riflescopes can I mount the night vision attachment?

Pulsar offers you adapters with which you can mount the night vision attachment on daylight devices and telescopic sights with an outer lens diameter of 46,7 to 50,6mm and 54,7 to 65,6mm. This means that most common telescopic sights are compatible with the adapters.

Can the night vision attachment also be used with large calibers?

Yes. The shot resistance is 6000 J. This means that the device can also be used with large caliber weapons.

Is the plastic adapter really shockproof?

Yes, this can also be used on weapons with a maximum muzzle energy of 6000 J.

Is it necessary to zero the attachment accordingly?

no As a rule, you can use the attachment without zeroing in. If the device has been hit hard or suffered a serious fall, you can check the point of impact and adjust it yourself if necessary.

Does the point of impact change when mounting the attachment?

no The assembly has no influence on the point of impact and is not changed or adjusted.

Background: The attachment has a simple magnification, which is calibrated according to the "scaling" method.

How can I align the attachment on the scope?

To do this, first loosen the clamp on the adapter. The reticle can then be adjusted using the "Horizon" menu function. Another option is to align the reticle parallel using the upper and lower limits on the display. The reticle is only centered and aligned by eye.

How is the adapter mounted on the scope?

To do this, first measure the external dimensions of the telescopic sight using the vernier caliper. Then select the appropriate adapter ring according to the dimensions. Put the ring in the adapter and mount the adapter on the scope. If the adapter does not fit despite the correct ring, we recommend loosening the clamping screw. Then close the bracket. Important: Mounting the adapter without adapter rings is not permitted and is dangerous. Also, before clamping the adapter, make sure that the image is displayed in the center of the scope. If necessary, make appropriate corrections.

Which IR emitter can I use in combination with the attachment?

In principle, you can use any IR emitter from the Pulsar brand. In principle, however, we recommend the Pulsar-X850, which with its wavelength of 850 nm harmonises very well with the high sensitivity of the sensor and thus enables you to use a maximum distance.

Good to know: Pulsar IR emitters are self-sufficient battery powered. This means that the service life of the attachment is not affected when it is used.

Can I mount the attachment on a scope with parallax adjustment?

Yes. But make sure that the parallax is set to a distance of 100 meters.

What do I use the "DISTANCE" function for?

The distance function allows you to adjust and correct the optical axis of the attachment via the axis of the rifle scope. This is of crucial importance for precision shooting and at long distances. A distance of 100 m is set at the factory as the standard setting. In principle, the following distances are possible as "distance templates": 15, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 150 and 300 meters.
