Is the "invisible" Pulsar-940 IR illuminator effective with the Gen 1 and 2+ night vision scopes?

no The Pulsar-940 IR illuminator offers hardly any use worth mentioning for all night vision riflescopes of the 1st and 2+ generation. Background: The residual light intensifier tube only has a very low sensitivity at this wavelength and therefore hardly responds to it.

We therefore recommend IR emitters with a wavelength of 900 nm or more for digital night vision rifle scopes.

I use my IR illuminator on the Recon digital night vision scope. Unfortunately, the light point of the spotlight is not in the center. What possible solutions are there?

The good news: All Pulsar IR emitters offer an adjustable light point position in the field of view. This means that corrections can be made at any time. You will find detailed information and notes on this in the operating instructions for your device. If you have any questions, the Dualoptik team will be happy to advise you further.

Are Pulsar Laser Infrared Emitters Actually Dangerous? If so, what do I have to pay attention to?

All Pulsar IR emitters (both built-in and external IR emitters) meet laser class 1 for eye safety according to the IEC 60825 standard and have no dangerous effects on the eyes and retina.

Despite everything, we recommend that one should avoid intentionally and directly beaming in the eyes.
