What does FOM mean?
FOM stands for Figure of Merit. This value is used to better compare image intensifier tubes. The FOM value is obtained by multiplying the resolution and the signal-to-noise ratio of a picture tube. Example: 64 lp/mm times S/N 24 = FOM 1536
