InfiRay is the first manufacturer specifically for the bowhunting has developed a suitable thermal imaging target sight. Functionally, the Holo HL25B is designed very similar to a thermal imaging scope or handheld thermal imaging device.
The Attachment on a compound bow is done through the adapter. This is multi-axis and can be adjusted horizontally and vertically. Required screws are also included.
A modular one Laser Range Finder (LRF) is included, it can determine the size of the target up to a distance of one kilometer.
The target device features a vanadium oxide thermal detector, which can detect heat sources with 384 x 288 pixels. This data is then transferred to the AMOLED Display displayed at 800 x 600 pixels. With 40 microkelvin sensitivity, the finest details of the radiating heat of the objects can be recognized. This enables, for example, the smallest branches or blades of grass to be displayed correctly.
The 25 millimeters objective lens can capture a field of view of over 18 meters in a 100 meter long corridor. Targets can be detected up to a distance of 1,3 kilometers, which gives enough scope for archery.
It can also be used in the rain or any other adverse weather situation, because the thermal imaging visor is after the IP67 protection sealed.
The target point can be displayed as "X" or ".", this can be selected from 7 different sizes. Of course, it can also be switched off if it is not required.
The observations in the form of photos or videos can even be recorded. There is also a 32 gigabyte large one VCR is available for storage, management and analysis.
The Energy supply is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh. That's enough for a runtime of about 3 hours. Optionally, not only can the data be transferred to a PC via the USB port, but a power bank can also be operated.
