The name dwarf is to be taken literally with this night vision attachment. Because the compact construction weighs including battery and Rusan adapter just 630 grams. One could assume that the performance was neglected, but that is not the case. The manufacture JSA Nightlux assembles this device exclusively in his factory, where German precision is still used.
The built optical system has immense accuracy, all components harmonize wonderfully with each other. The JSA NV Midget Ultra offers a Field of view of up to 20 degrees without affecting the performance of the eyepiece. In addition, this special lens was designed for a very high Contrast optimized. A scattered light is even completely neglected with this device.
In combination with a daylight optic is a enlargement up to 12x possible under ideal conditions, a zoom of up to 8x is usually practical. The image intensifier tube is rigorously tested using a collimator system for every conceivable situation before leaving the factory.
